This is about a beautiful concept whose impact is far more visible and practical and touched me while I was in UK ( Ya,as if its still something to brag about !) . I always wondered why every person in some countries may be on a shop counter,on a bus or a normal shop always Smiled at you ? Are they Mad ? And why every person in some countries, may be on the counter,on the bus in an auto or may be any damn imaginable place just keep Yelling at the simplest of the things that do not even matter . And it came like a big hit to me that this was all because of me or any normal person like me ! ( Yes, The Eureka Moment ! ) Sounds bookish right ? But I can prove the practicality of it , and I am going to do it right now.
Lets consider a simple example : A day in UK :
Assume you are a person who uses a bus to reach office. Yes as simple as that. Imagined ? Good ,lets proceed .
In UK : You reach the bus stop , there are people standing there , They look at you and Smile at you and say Good Morning , It instantly brings a smile on your face and a splash of positive energy refreshes you, you also wish them with a smile and wait for the bus. The bus arrives ,You get in the bus and smile at the Bus Driver and greet him with a simple but cheerful smile on your face. It instantly brings a smile on his face . You sit on your seat . The Driver retains that smile with that positive energy and he in turn greets every passenger with that Smile and every passenger holds on to that mood or that Mode of Smile.
Now all passengers don't go to offices(Assuming they are all not Software Engineers !), Some might go to a super market, some to Post Office , some to Bank some to other places. But whats common in all of them ? Any guesses ? Ya,Right its the Smile and positive energy that the driver just passed to them. But wait , who gave that smile to the driver ? Hmmm,Yes ,It was you ! Right ? Now when these 50 passengers get off the bus , they carry with them this smile that was initiated by You ! And now they will interact with people in shops,post offices or wherever they go but they will surely pass that cheerful smile to the person they meet in those places. So Whats the result ? Any Guesses ?
That A simple cheerful smile by you actually resulted in making more than 100 people smile and most of these 100 smiling people will carry that back to their Family members who in turn will smile back and to others and reinforce that smile revolution! Sounds good, Right ? So is it really that hard to smile with that type of astonishing results ? Think About it...
And Now, what if we replace the Smile with Yelling. "You" Yell at the driver , Driver Yells at all other passengers, all those passengers yell on everyone else they meet in their office,shops,post offices,in banks and you know what, this Yelling does not end. People in these places go back home and yell at their family members, who in turn would go out and yell at the bus driver of the bus they board,the shop they visit or any other place and the whole Circle of Yelling will be repeated with no possible breakage . So next time you see someone yelling , you know whom to blame, Right ? Its you, because you could have been the one to break that Circle of Yelling by Smiling, but you chose otherwise and hence reinforced the continuity of Yelling !
Smiling is much easier,less taxing and actually very relieving and considering the astonishing results it produces ,Its worth opting for that sweet Smile then that devil face Yelling of yours ! A smile in place of yelling ( When yelling looks like to be the most viable option ) can completely transform a situation well beyond your Imagination. Do it to believe it,because you are worth of a beautiful life,so be the creator of that beautiful life by implementing this simple concept of a cheerful smile...
